3 More Days!

School went very late for us this year. Here's a shot of Firstborn this morning before heading off for the last day of school before the holiday.

The guy on the radio was complaining about school going so late this year since nothing could possibly be getting done at this point. But I'd like to make the argument that even if the last day of school was in November, the kids would be so excited about the upcoming holiday that nothing would get done then either. Plus, since ALL kids everywhere are insane this week, I was pretty happy that someone else took my kid off my hands!

And now he's mine until the Christmas sugar high wears off sometime in early January...

That is the cutest picture!
Fab face! That is uber-excitement in one shot! Have a wonderful festive weekend with the family and I hope there are many more faces like this one.

Would you just look at that face! How wonderful to be a kid and experience all the wonder of Christmas. Too bad we have to grow up and be responsible adults....Ah to be that age again!

I want to wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas Season! I have so enjoyed reading your blog this year! You always make me smile!

I think it might make Christmas break all the more exciting to have school go so close to the actual day! I wouldn't be complaining if my daughter was still in school- more time kid free to get stuff done! Happy Holidays!

I have many pictures of my son, with this exact expression on his face, when he was about Firstborn's age...
