Holy Hoopla, Batman!! I'm practically famous!

A big thank you to Tamara at Mad Boastings of a Cheapskate Mom for featuring little ol' me today. If you haven't checked out her blog, you really must. Funny and frugal are a deadly combination!

And I've loved reading all of your wonderful comments. I fully expected a few scoldings for my horrific negligence yesterday, but it would seem that there are a lot of very understanding folks out there! There's nothing better when you feel like World's Worst Mom than hearing that other people have screwed up too!

I have every intention of checking out all your blogs, for I am always on the prowl for new blogs to love. But bear with me on this one. If I spend more than two minutes in one sitting on the computer, I have to worry that Rosemary's Baby has taken the riding mower for a cruise down the highway...

I literally have tears in my eyes from that comment about the riding lawn mower!! lol, the joys of boys right there! Not sure if it is tears of laughter so much as compassion! So glad I am following!!

Wendy!! I could tell you STORIES!!! My boys as you know are 21 and 23 and they kept me hoppin' all day and all night.
They are wonderful little creatures aren't they...

I'm with you on the can't spend mor ethan 2 minutes on the computer in one sitting. My little ones think every flat surface (including tables) are for either dancing on or jumping from! UGH! LOL

I'm so glad you have a new idea for your box/bench. Don't be afraid of pattern - pattern hides dirt! Shhhh! It's my decorating secret! :D

Just make sure Rosemarys baby doesnt text while driving. My mom ran into the front porch while doing that. pics are on caiafa craziness as proof lol

Between Christmas and the New Year, I decided to treat myself and subscribe to In Style magazine for a year. I like clothes and makeup and all things girly, so it seemed like a fun thing to look forward to receiving in the mail every month. And it is. The Captain has only been gone 2 weeks. Already I've committed the ultimate marital sin. You hear stories about the things wives get up to while the husbands are serving overseas. The wife who moves a new guy in the minute her husband's gone. The wife who clears out the bank account and does a runner. The one who takes all his extra tour money and spends it on new shoes. I never thought I'd become one of those nuts who does something crazy while he's away. But I have. Yesterday, I bought one of these: Okay, fine. The Luck Of The Irish

As far as I know, I do not even have 1% Irish in me. The last time I looked into it, I found that I was 99.9% English with, I think, a tiny smidge of Scottish if you go back far enough. This, however, does not stop me from going hog wild on St Patrick's Day. I already have the beef marinating for my Steak and Guinness Pie tomorrow. This year, it seems I've cashed in all those lucky four-leafed clovers I found out back as a kid. In just over a year, I have won no less than FOUR blog giveaways! Blogging is turning out to be better than the lottery! Two of those giveaways I won this month within a week of each other.
